So much struggles for Birdie, but at least she’s doing the best she can.

Talk about a shocking surprise involving Birdie’s brother-in-law, but Frances’ attitude during this harsh situation is getting so annoying as she’s doesn’t want to think about bad things and think she’s living like a princess.

Man, Miss Garnett just doesn’t wanna be defeated. Meanwhile, there’s a big surprise just after Meg finally escaped from Garnett’s spiteful clutches.

Man, Birdie’s sister Frances is pretty uptight with trying to live as a certain type of housewife and trying to hide where she and her sister came from.

The two main characters so far certainly are dealing with harsh realities and living conditions. Meg is certainly the most intriguing so far as she certainly has a very brave and sharp tongue against her orphanage caregiver. Kinda reminds me of Annie and Miss Hannigan. I remember reading “The Help” back in high school, and there’s that same feeling of harsh judgment and treatment found here.
