the way Grigor described the difference between picking flowers from a farm vs in nature was so beautiful. Im scared to like a character in this book but im warming up to grigor. Again, it’s towards the end of the book that i finally start liking a character HAHA Motessa you’re crazy

im so glad Grigor was reintroduced, he is woke af. His perspective is literally so relieving like yes, finally someone who understands the true concept of God. It’s still so funny how Father Barnabas sucks at being a “voice of god.” Yet, the people are so dependent and hopeless that they will believe anything and everything. Anyways, i cant believe the book started with Grigor.

well im almost done lol, but it took reaching towards the end for me to finally realized why i never put this book down as much as wanted to in the beginning. Yes it’s sick but the theme that i grasped is so fire. Who is deserving of god’s pity? A question i never even imagined asking, yet having such power. Opening a new door for traumatic religious philosophy. I will touch on it more once i finish.
