Audiobooks help SO much! Especially when you don’t want to read yet want to do other things, it can be very helpful with getting back into reading. Hoopla and Libby are really helpful for this! My go to is Hoopla 😊

@Izzy I was abt to say audiobooks! Try short books, middle grade is great! Try funny books. Those are the easiest to pick up. Gordon Kormans books are great audiobooks for a slump!

that literally makes me so happy
that is a first draft and i've honestly grown so much since that book but I still think about it often and draw fanart for it haha
and it IS on my next to edit list

annnnnd i'm working a little bit on a hockey romance because I realized something: i'm in a slump with the wedding planners because it's a sUMMER romance and where i'm at it's already basically fall (50 degrees, RAINNN, orange leaves, etc)

i love rereading a comfort book when i feel like this! it helps me remember what it feels like to really be in a book and to LOVE reading

my problem is that when I publish my books I fear only like 20 people will read them and then it'll fizzle out
