I read the third edition about 3 years ago and couldn’t remember much about the philosophy of preaching. I’m surprised and comforted by the weight placed on the Holy Spirit’s role, although I am growing wary (typical seminary student encountering high church tradition) of the conflation of HS guidance with “mining the text.” We will see where Robinson goes.
