Far outpacing my physical copy on the Libby audio version, might end up just physically reading at a later time. Thoroughly enjoyable narration, fairly easy to follow along with the historical dates and description of journal entries/criminals and executions recorded by Frantz and others provided for context, but I do find myself rewinding at times when it feels like I’ve missed a detail or lost track of a passage.

Combined physical copy and Libby audio, pretty fascinating preface by the author, great prose and interesting subject so far. The audiobook narrator is very good as well, the posh English accent makes for easy listening.
