I can’t believe I’m saying this, but: I kind of hate the narration of Dominique’s POV, even though we have Nick J. Russo narrating 🙄 Dominique’s french accent is so strong, you wouldn’t believe he’s from a bilingual country. For example, he doesn’t pronounce a single ”h” at the beginning of words (“eight” instead of “height”), and all the “the” are pronounced “theee” 🙄

Omg I’m currently listening to another NJR book with a French character and I keep thinking the same thing!! Apparently French accents are not his thing, bless him 🤣

I thought this too!! I actually swapped to reading because of it 😅
@Pauline we found something he really isn’t good at 😅 I’m afraid I’ll quit the book. I tried switching to reading, but now Dominique speaks like that in my head, too, and I can’t stand it (and by proxy, him as a character)
