Dont try to understand how flippin works... just, read it as it is.

The soft logic is so annoying. In order to tryyyyyy to get to the end of the book I had to turn off my questioning brain, and just accept every rules that the book throws at me

One thing that I appreciate about the book is that the whole reason for the story is because of motherly love: the fact that it was dedicated to the authors' mothers said it all. Jack will do anything to save his mother from cancer and I guess every boy in the world who was loved by his mother will do the same, no matter how crazy the adventure is, absolutely.

Jack Sawyer was everywhere; Jack Sawyer was everything.

Pretty sure the authors were on drugs.

The final chapters feel so stretched out! It drags on and onnnn

It may be that they can’t come right after us, or it may be that they can. I don’t know. I know as much about the laws governing all of this as a kid of five knows about magnetism [...]. But for the time being, that’s all I have to know. We have to get out of here. End of story.

Nooo. Don't 'end of story' me! I do need to know these laws! Mr King and Straub, don't end like that!

Mmkay things are still interesting despite opening more questions than answers.... I do wish more time is spent in the territories instead of the 'normal' world- but i understand what the authors are trying to convey... that this world is actually the one full of horrors.

Meanwhile, there are parts in the book that just felt... mismatched. I guess this time the 2 authors weren't really insync yet...

2/3 of the book now... im still trying to be patient but so many questions and soft logic
