Wowwww, Kurt Cobain tried to get in touch with Mark multiple times the day Kurt committed suicide, and Mark blew him off so he could stay home and do drugs. If Mark Lanegan had picked up the phone, maybe Kurt would still be alive. What a horrible thing to live with.

He seems like a miserable and unpleasant man, someone to avoid at all costs, but he does tell a good story.

I don’t know anything about Screaming Trees, but this memoir was on sale and the sample was good. I’m enjoying it but all of the people in this book sound like real pieces of shit.
