Wait... HOW did we get from "The Host of this Hotel is an eldritch horror that occasionally snacks on rude hotel guest and people who see him snacking on rude hotel guests" to "Level 5 Monsterfuckery with Lovecraftian Tentacles deluxe expansion"???

I am not enjoying Amanda Meuwissen’s narration very much. She reads extremely fast.
There is barely any space for a sentence to land before the next one arrives, and I think that affects how the characters come across too. Logan, for example, feels more annoying than excitable, and I suspect the performance is at least partly responsible.
