I’m really only finding the portions where the author talks about all the research she did on happiness interesting

So this was a random find in a lending library and I feel like if I paid for this book I would have been pissed… but I’m quite enjoying reading about a chic neurotypical mentally sane NYC woman romanticizing her life some more. But as a self help book I fear this is kinda a stinker. But are any self help books truly good? Probably not tbh

Reading a book about how to be happy while on leave from work for being depressed is so cliche but I’m trying yall!!!!

pg 2: “What a wonderful life I’ve had! I only which I’d realized it sooner.”
