Natalie Davey’s Reviews > The Loveliness of Christ > Status Update

“Ye have only these two shallow brooks: sickness and death to pass through. But you have also a promise, that Christ will do more than meet you, in that he shall come himself and go with you foot for foot and bear you in his arms. Oh then, for the joy that is set before you, for the love of a man who is also God over all, blessed forever, who is upon the shore to welcome you. Run your race with patience.”

Pt. 2 “…guiltiness maketh me ashamed to apply to Christ and to think it pride in me to put out my unclean and withered hand to such a savior. But it is neither shame nor pride for a drowning man to swim to a rock. Nor for a ship-broken soul to run himself ashore upon Christ.” 🔥🔥🔥

“Sinners can do nothing but make wounds that he may heal them, and make debts that he may pay them, and make falls that he may raise them, and make deaths that he may quake them, and spin out and dig hells for themselves that he may ransom them…” pt. 1

“Christ’s love should remind me of His daylight in my midnight.” ❤️
