I thought coming back to this after four years would instill some new insights, but unfortunately it remains "good" in that you can see something phenomenal coming to be, but it really is an incomplete text published post mortem. The horrors of Franco, the surrealism. It feels intimate, but I had hoped a second read would give me more. I always yearn for character work above all.
