was worried at first this wouldn’t live up to broder’s brilliant and darkly funny essay collection, but as it goes on i find myself sinking deeper into her world. the prose is meh with some surprising moments, but the depiction of an eating disorder is uncanny and perfect. love her take on surface level activism re the boss + the twisted subtleties of trying to love others’/their bodies while hating you/yours
