Leave it up to Jacqueline Wilson to write such interesting characters for children. How she dealt with heavy and serious issues through a child's lens never fails. However, I'm not satisfied with the pacing. It was great but then the last 2-3 chapters feel so rushed, especially the end. I think I've got no problems reading her every book before, no idea why this one has such a messy flow.
