Gets better and better

Honestly enjoying this book so much because it is so well written, smooth, easy to understand, yet so deep and makes me really ponder what new Orleans is really like.

She is able to stay on topic and yet do so through much interpersonal dialogue

This story is so good

Honestly have been so impressed by this book. She stays on her theme so well and your heart breaks for the characters. New Orleans sounds like a fascinating world

The characters are deepening and she is processing the world she called home for 20 years

Her pictures of New Orleans culture are beautiful and then she drops a beautiful line of wisdom to help explain it all. I appreciate people who understand where they come from.
