Interesting story to a degree, about a man's fall, rise, and fall again towards the end. The main character himself was a bit boring. He just didn't have much to say and everything that happens to him feels disconnected from his own actions. That is what I feel let this book down. I just had no connection to the character. He was bland and uninspiring, not a main character that I want to root for.
