got into uni (finally, although it is my second try to get back into academics. hopefully this time i make it and finally get my degree 🩷) in a bachelor’s in literature and interart studies which means i MUST fully read in portuguese now (im portuguese lol, writing this in english for my international moots). i’ve been neglecting my mother tongue for so many years now. NO MORE!

i got more into reading in english bc i was gonna study abroad in the uk but then brexit fucked me upppp. then i just continued because it was more accessible at the time w/ piracy + prices of english books. but now i gotta make an effort plus it’s much easier to find pt books in z-lib 🫢 also libraries!!!!!! and the annual book fairs <3 im committing to this shit now. will only read in english if there’s no translated version. or if i already purchased it in english and can’t find it translated 🫢

Congratulation, and best of luck with your degree. Lately I'm also trying to read more books in italian (my mother tongue).
