An easy read, more like a diary than an actual book. One must remember this was 'Paris' almost 100 years ago. I may be repeating myself, but the remembrances were written down in 1960 about his habitation in the City of Light, well, a century ago. Odd hearing stories of famous folks Gertrude Stein, Ezra Pound (neither of whom I've read), and F. Scott Fitzgerald. Around page 180 there are ten pages of photos.

This is a book by Hemingway, written in the late 1950's about the author's adventures in Paris from 1921 to 1926. It's about his life and the very famous folks he ran into and sometimes palled around with in Paris. Adventures from his 20's recalled 30 years later. He holds nothing back. Even though it's about everyday life. It's so very readable.
