I read this many years ago and kept waiting for Sherlock Holmes to jump from behind a tree! Not really.............I enjoyed this change of pace. Hope you are too.

Thank you, Jill. Being a long-time Doyle/Holmes fan, I know what you mean. But Doyle has created a "Sherlock Free Zone" in his sci-fi. and it is a nice change.
Have you enjoyed Doyle's "Sherlock" writing or his sci-fi more?

I have to say that I like the Holmes books better but only because I am not a big fan of sci-fi. That is not to say that I didn't enjoy this book because I did.
