I got to be honest. It is a really good book.
But the amount of geographical naming without much context, makes it hard to emotionally engage with the narrative. At times when there is a deep and personal passage it is brilliant. But it is hardly a piece of fiction at this point.

Scenic and beautiful really!
It is a slow travelogue and there is not much happening and falls a bit short. I am enjoying reading it! But cannot for the life of me keep myself up to pase in this book..

Alright my bad I didn’t really process this was one of his actual trips? I do think Mathiesen is a P.O.S for the way he has treated his wife and kids.
