The Japanese in this book is difficult to understand. The sentences are long and contain unusual words, and it takes a lot of effort to analyze them, but it's fun, and I'm working my way through it.

I especially like the quotes from great figures I didn’t know on the major themes of life. The fundamental principles are laid out plainly and with complete clarity, and that is exactly what an independent thinker needs—beyond politics, the fundamentals presented with the utmost clarity possible.

There is more on a single page of this book than in apopular science book.
