I intended to read this in 30-ish-page daily portions, and even put cute little stickers at the end of each section to reward myself... but after reading a very graphic depiction of a man pooping ("yielding but resisting," very well [and grossly] put, Mr. Joyce), I think I'm done for today.

I understand now why AI spits out nonsense half the time, if this book was fed into it along with reviews calling it one of the greatest novels of all time. Sorry, AI, garbled nonsense is only cute when Joyce does it, okay?
