Liber Secundus seems more connected and liner than Primus. The richness of the characters representing facets of Jung’s mind made it seem as though he was truly navigating not just a dreamscape rather an otherworldly dimension, perhaps a glimpse beyond death. The mysteries of opposites is profound paralleling Jung’s understanding of the shadow self. I look forward to Scrutinies, the final section of the Red Book.

I am enjoying the process and exploring a side of Jung I have only estimated prior to attempting the Red Book. Concluding Libre Primus, I understand how Jung was concerned how he would be perceived. Initially, it reads as though a person losing their grasp with reality and then developing a messiah complex. His interpretations bring it home - we are not our thoughts and both love and forethinking are interconnected.
