heartbreak is kind of inevitable in life you guys

disappointing

am i crazy or is this book not supposed to be ya? bc right now it is reading far more new adult/adult than ya (not to discredit young adults or anything i know they’re thinking similar things etc) like why did i just read the words “her soft body” in a ya novel?

everyone saying soooo gilmore girls coded (ok fall ok chilton) but all I can think about is a more pg gossip girl. damion’s “bad boy” act is slightly off putting to me, and i hate that a “good girl” was slipped into an interaction.

every time he refers to her as honey i get mentally transported back into new moon where jacob calls bella honey every five seconds

i fear that i am already buying into it
