Ok took a while to get into. I think i was in a slump after the Edge of Darkness series. Thoughts so far:
Husband is HELLA SUSPICIOUS
I felt bad for verity at first but now i’m thinking she’s unhinged and obsessed
Lowen… gurl… you are not that desperate.
I cant tell if this will be more Housemaid or more Gone Girl.

What the fuck is happening. The letter says is he’s reading this that means she left in the middle of the night with crew. Which means she wrote it before the accident… but then she mentions that he read the manuscript BEFORE the accident….

I thinks i is in a reading slump. Doesn’t mean this book is bad. Its actually really good. Finishing it may pull me out of it

Again. Verity is creepy af. But I still think the husband is suspicious. Maybe he killed the girls and is giving verity medication to keep her incapacitated. Idk idk THIS COULD GO IN SO MANY WAYS.
