Another fun aspect about this book is that it’s based in 1999 with rivalry high schools. So, while this is definitely more of a juvenile/YA book, it has some fun nostalgia factors mixed throughout. :) An excellent autumn read so far!

Not going to lie - I read the first chapter late at night in bed. Yeah. Way creepier than I’d originally given it credit for and I won’t be making that mistake again. I don’t know what it is, but spooky YA books actually do spook me more than other horror novels I’ve read. Seems like a perfect autumn read though!
