It's reassuring to find this is maybe Klune's weakest novel. It's cozy sci-fi. Rehashed stories my immediate thoughts went to Astroboy and the Brave Little Toaster, then there are Pinnochio quotes in the novel. It's very heavy.

And while a lot of the slapstick humor with the characters is fine, the sexual humor dropped by the robots is out of place and just...odd.

Thumbs up writing though, I see it.
