That very raw and brave chapter in this book was a hard read but it is 100% necessary. Speaking out, as hard as it might be, helps. It was not your fault.

So far so good! I’m reading the book and in my head a hear GK Barry’s accent and tone and that makes it funnier, imagining her saying these things. Although the cover says “contains no helpful advice whatsoever” some of the advice, especially in the body image chapter is useful to someone who at a riper age, still suffers with body image issues.
