Not necessarily German, Heidegger and Nietzsche right after echother is just a coincidence. But I am curious, what does he write about ?

Oh he has written about pretty much anything from Surrealism, to Proust and Baudelaire, to smoking hashish and Jewish mysticism, but he's written most about modernity. I can recommend 'Illuminations' as an entry-book (or his anecdotes on Berlin called 'Berlin Childhood around nineteenhundred' :))
