feeling at times I don’t fully understand the intricacies of later chapters but I am getting the boarder, more substantial points

It’s pretty good so far, albeit a lot of review I’m decently familiar with from an intro information theory class I took (k-anonymity, differential privacy, etc.) I know some examples the book has brought up as they are quintessential in the field, but I’ve also learned about some other examples of applications of the material that I wasn’t familiar with. Excited to see where it goes in the rest!
