well I was actually reading abt the soft machine which involves a lot of mexican stuff so i assumed he wrote it when he was in mexico but i could be wrong! does he mention what he is working on in mexico?


Seanna Nope! Large parts of this notebook are actually found nearly verbatim in two different books of his: the Yage Letters and Queer! That's generally what he was working on at the time. Plus this is more specifically covers the time when he left Mexico in search of Yage going through Peru and like central and South American countries!
