I’ve wanted to dig into this

I was only 6 pages in and it made me write multiple pages of notes about the spirit of colonial violence and its insatiable hunger for consuming people and the environment. Some of the language is outdated, but it’s incredible at detailing how the french, spanish, and british brought their beef with each other and spread it across the Caribbean/Americas like the diseases they arrived with.
