The writing in this book has made me doubt what side i am on, like in one chapter i am on tisaanah and max's side whole heartly, and in another chapter i am rooting for Aefe and Caduan and for them to survive this war because I believe they deserve there happy ending too.

The themes of this story of forgiveness not only of yourself but of others, of living again and choosing life even when it's hard. I fighting for the people you love and the world you want to see, fighting for change. I really can't wait to see how the last 50% goes because so far it's been none stop action and the plot has been plotting.

But can both sides come together to find some common ground? Some peace? Can they put aside their hatred for the other and find a way to stop this war and live in harmony together? I think that is what it really is going to come down too, and I think it is all going to depend on Aefe taking the first step because she is the one that was hurt the most by humans, can she find a way to forgive.

So even though what Caduan and Aefe are doing is not good, can you really blame them. This is why i am in a dilemma like who is truly in the right, of course Tisaanah and Max are but its just so hard to not want a good outcome for all parties except of course Nura. This is why this story is so unique because it makes you root for the villain, it makes you understand the reasons for what they are doing.

Like the true bad guy here is Nura, she is the one that caused all of this, Caduan would not have gone to war with the humans and want to destroy all of them if Nura hadn't kidnapped Fey to experiment on them. If the humans hadn't been so greedy 500 years ago and done horrible things to Aefe, the humans of today wouldn't be paying the consequences.

This is definitely my favorite book of the series so far, like this is turning into a perfect ending to a great series.
