So far, this is top-tier King. Love his turns of phrase and his use of language. There's a casual ease to it, so it's plain but not boring. No words get in the way, they all facilitate the imagery, the scene, what this or that character thinks like, feels like, talks like, wants and desires and regrets and dreams. The place itself is so visceral I feel like I've been there before.
