Climate change will appear as a series of crazy, insane, hard-to-believe videos shot on cell phones by people who live closer and closer to you until you are finally in one of the videos.

"Nearly every major glacier in the world is shrinking; those in Glacier National Park are retreating so quickly it has been estimated that they will vanish entirely by 2030."

While there has been substantial retreating and disappearance of the glaciers, the current estimates now are that we will have glaciers there until 2080, according to Wikipedia. There are only 25 glaciers classified as still "active".

Embarking on this book after the UN’s climate change report declaring that 2 degrees of heating past pre-industrial levels is, at this point, unavoidable is…. Well, it’s a fucking choice on my part.
