i keep trying to remind myself of his letter to alina but i’m beginning to strongly dislike mal 😭 he’s reminding me of gale hawthorne from the hunger games 😭😭

Maybe my expectations were just too high because I loved the first book, or maybe I’m not as connected with the characters as I thought I was but I’m finding myself really bored with this book. There just doesn’t seem to be a lot going on and I feel like with the second book in a series it usually has to be fast-paced and it’s not really. I’m gonna be patient and keep reading, but so far, I’m bored.
