even though it hasnt been that long since i first read it i think

i might check out this new book i found
bc if its trash
i can reread the undertaker-which wasnt amazing but might be familiar enough to be a comfort adjacent read for awhile
esp to finish off this worldbuilding??

the ow drama was resolved
but not to my satisfaction

the fmc growled at her
but the guys held her back from beating her face in

then one of the mmcs tells another to fire her

so we dont even get the satisfaction of all of that

everything else is bleh to me now
i mightve rated it two stars

I might have been willing to change it to a two star rating
If it turned out better this time around

it’s not terribly shit so it has that going for it at least

one reviewer said this duet should’ve been a standalone

i concur.

rating this one star bc i feel like shit in general
and reading this was like brain rot

literally finished both books today

and already forgetting the latter

so i’ll be rating it one star

i don’t think there was one moment that was remotely memorable
good or bad

that was lame.

i could’ve done with little to no sex scenes
it seemed they were fucking every other page

obvious plot twists that arent even twists
let alone plot worthy

this story felt like how it ended

with bob the seagull shitting on her head as they proposed to her

i swear if there’s other women drama, with that cunt faced secretary from book one, and it’s not resolved satisfactorily, i’m going to be so annoyed

spoilers already before story even starts

but i’m also not surprised by the note about miscarriage from her assault
is what i think it’s about

i just automatically assumed so when i read book one
there was more she was hiding from the guys

i did add her and that book to my heroines shelf/tag

hopefully this book isnt a letdown like most sequels
