Putting honey is someone’s hair is just so disrespectful. I hope Ina gets ALL of them. I hope George kicks Sybil to the curb. How can she still be racist after all Ina did for her? Did Ina kill Frederick? I hope the Queen isn’t onto Ina. Is Harriet black or white? Who has a funeral at a wedding? What’s gonna happen at Rui’s den? Book is a little slow now, but I think it will pick up?

Two chapters in a there are already two murder victims. Every time I read a book with slavery in, I get pissed off all over again. This books shows the physical and sexual abuse in slavery. I may not promote violence but I would stop Ina’s plan if I was there. “Their love is conditional.”
