I grew up a latter-day saint and felt I knew the struggles of the pioneers of the church. But studying this history in this format has greatly expanded my knowledge of the intense trials both physical and spiritual of the saints of that time. The dedication and conviction of these early saints has encouraged me to live in gratitude for all they endured that I may have the blessings I have today.
