I'm struggling to finish this book. I'm almost finished, but I've completely lost interest in this story. Trying to push through so I can mark as read. I enjoyed with the first book, next year in Havana, that they were discussing real life events with fictional characters. This feels more like an action novel.

The author did a great job of leaving me intrigued by the glamorous and strong Aunt Beatriz, so her novel has been anything but disappointing. Her life is taking on risks and behaviors I wouldn't have suspected.
