I spoke too soon, as far as no dead bodies, but this mystery is a real puzzler and a perfect summer read!

Still enjoying this read of pure wholesome fun, and developing my own thesis as to The Who done it...there are no bodies, just the bloody shoes...hm could this have a happy ending after all!

Now I want to see this author do standup, because she has an amazing sense of humor too! This is the perfect summer read, if you are a kid or for the kid in you!

I caution to categorize this book as a Young Adult (YA) novel. Instead I would say it is an instant classic for young and old alike! York's description and character development put you right in the story. I can so easily relate to both her main characters. Lily for her adventurous spirit and Christi for her insecurities. Awesome read, I highly recommend!
