Analyzes and seeks to understand the raw style of patristic interpretation. Denounces the modern “method” mindset. Basically, meaning comes from the text, not from that to which the text refers. I’m a fan so far but am interested to see the explanation of patristic typology, as modern typology falls into the rut of meaning as derived from referent.
