to be clear he is like. absolutely horrendous. just a vile preening weasel of a man. but ofc the du maurier special is making that annoyingly attractive!!
One of my favorite things about du Maurier is how she writes men as mostly horrors but appealing enough in the moments they seem like they might sexually satisfy a woman
