How is it compared to Dungeon Crawler? I'm thinking of giving it a go

They’re pretty different! Dungeon Crawler Carl is a lot funnier and more creative with the whole game/dungeon aspect. This one is more of a superhero-ish sci-fi progression series where Mark keeps evolving and getting stronger while slowly realizing how corrupt the city and the people in power actually are. There’s still a ton of fighting and increasingly ridiculous enemies, but it takes itself more seriously than DCC. I personally like DCC more, but I’ve still had a lot of fun with this series and obviously flew through all six 😂 They do both have a cat companion though, so that’s a win.
Oh okay that does sound different! I might go ahead and try it then. I couldn't seem to get through the 1st chapter of book 3 of DCC, so I should probably give that another go too.
