I am so bored... I don't even know why I keep reading. Quaid is genuinely one of the most non engaging characters I came across in a long time.Not sure what to make of him. Not sure where the author thought she was going with him. Aslan, too, is like a ... placeholder love interest. He ticks all the "love interest" boxes without ever feeling like a real person.
