Maryse and her long-time ally are back for the fight of their lives, and I am so here for all of it!

And I almost feel sorry for those monsters, because one of Maryse's allies is back.

However, I have a feeling I shall finish this book much sooner than I expect.

Maryse is going to have her hands full. Good thing her Magickal Sword shall be at the ready.

Also, Maryse met the super big baddie "manager" from her dream. As much as I want to refer to it as an "it," it is actually a collective of nasty creatures. So, they are uglier in person. A human looking collective of demons feeding the racism and colorism of the white populace.

Also, I love these women! Maryse, Sadie, Chef, all of them are so distinct of each other and have their separate personalities.
