I don’t know, maybe it’s because I have 3 sisters and 4 nieces, but the second half of this book has been better than the first, and this book is less about the plot than it is about sisterhood and what it means to be a woman and how we are irrevocably and annoying beholden to each other. I’m only a sliver into the second half but it’s ready to have me sold.
