This book is exactly what I needed, I never felt such a wave of emotions while reading. I felt angry, sad, confused, and relieved that I know I am not alone in some of these struggles. I will say that the author primarily focuses her research and her comparisons on white & Black women, with Asian women mentioned throughout here and there.
