The setting of Death note is in Tokyo, Japan. It takes place in 2003-2010. In the start of the book it takes place in the Shinigami realm because a Shinigami named Ryuk dropped the Death note in the Human world in about 2003 and went to the Human world to retrieve it, which was unsuccessful since a human named Light, had and used it after seeing it fall from the sky, happened at Daikoku, which is Light's High school.

GENRE:Psychological Thriller, This applies to my IR book because it follows a story of a teenager, Light Yagami with a notebook that can kill anyone with him just writing their name and cause of death, As He does this a incredibly smart detective, L Lawliet knows that It may be him but is not sure. Before L died he found out Light was the Killer the moment he died, soon after L died two new detectives took his place.

I chose this book because I enjoyed the Anime so I thought this would be even better. So far I have n complaints and have liked it so far. I would recommend this for anyone who has a interest in Anime or Manga.
