When the female narrator speaks as Eli, it sounds like when I listen to YA romances, where the entire book is narrated by a woman. She uses the husky voice a narrator puts on when she narrates a man speaking.

I've been listening to video reviews of Hallmark movies lately. In one of them, the reviewer brought up a tweet: "Talking to your mom is a form of self-harm."

I'm obviously not artistic enough to understand what this is supposed to do.
